General Terms
By using the DLR Automobile website and our rental services, you accept these terms and conditions. Displayed prices are before GST and QST; the firm price is confirmed in writing before booking.
Eligibility
The renter must be at least 25 years old (no rentals under 25), hold a valid driver’s licence for at least 2 years and present a government-issued photo ID. For exotics (Ferrari, Rolls-Royce, Mercedes-AMG G 63 and GT 63): 30 and over, licence held for at least 5 years. A satisfactory driving record may be required.
Pricing
Displayed prices are before GST and QST: by the day, the weekend, the week and for 30 days. For short rentals, included mileage and the cost of an extra kilometre ($0.40 to $4.95 depending on the vehicle) are shown on the vehicle page or confirmed with the firm price. Long-term lease: included mileage, extra-kilometre cost and the amount due before the lease begins are given to you in writing with the price. The security deposit is extra. Rates are subject to change based on vehicle availability and market conditions.
Security Deposit
A security deposit is required at vehicle pickup: $1,500 to $15,000 depending on the model rented, shown on the vehicle page. The deposit is refunded upon vehicle return, subject to a satisfactory inspection.
Insurance
Insurance terms are set out when you book.
Liability
The renter is responsible for the vehicle during the rental period, as set out in the signed rental agreement. Fines and tickets issued during that period are the renter's responsibility. Nothing herein limits the rights granted to the renter by the Québec Consumer Protection Act and the Civil Code of Québec, including with respect to bodily injury.
Cancellation
Cancellations made more than 48 hours before the rental start date are free of charge. Late cancellations (less than 48 hours) may incur fees equivalent to one day of rental.
Modifications
We may update these website terms of use. The version in force is dated at the top of the page. A change never applies to a rental already confirmed, which remains governed by the signed agreement.
